Reynolds Quest Tournament Rules

Entry Format Points Conditions of Contest
Entry
Each team must be registered by a captain and have a name. We suggest teams create a fictitious name unless they expect the team roster to remain stable across all time. You cannot use a login name that has been used in a pairs event.

Teams may have up to 6 active members in any given event.
No player may play for more than one team in any given event.

Team rosters may change without restriction at the start of a new event.

Entries are at the discretion of the tournament. Submitting an entry does not guarantee inclusion in the tournament. No reason will be given for denial of entry.

Teams entering the Swiss who qualify for Sunday play in the Knockout will automatically be withdrawn.”
Format
The event is single-elimination to be held on Saturday starting at 8 am PDT, 11 am EDT. The William Tell is a Swiss event held on the Sunday at the same starting time as Reynolds Quest. You many enter either or both events. The projected time frame for each round is 4 hours.
Points
BridgeZone points will be awarded for each match won. In the main draw, awards will be 10 points for round 1, 15 points for round 2, 22 points for round 3, and 28 points for round 4.

Conditions of Contest
Permissible methods will be governed by the The ACBL Open chart. This is a change from other BridgeZone and Reynolds events.
Reynolds Quest is also governed by the Bridge Zone BridgeZone Conditions of Play and BridgeZone Entry and other Conditions
These rules govern entry, scheduling, disputes, forfeits, and conditions of play.
